Hiiii! How are ya?
(Breathe. You got this.)
We performed Handel’s “Messiah” yesterday. It was so much fun! I thoroughly enjoyed rehearsing and performing with such a great group of people. I hope to do it again in the spring! I guess we’ll see what life holds. Singing makes my heart happy, and bringing major works to the community in ways they might not otherwise be able to explore is always going to be a joy, even if singing along to the radio or karaoke duet tracks on YouTube would be my preference in other ways.
Now, I turn my attention to the holidays still to come. Belated Yule, Solstice, and Hanukkah blessings to folks who celebrate those, and happy Christmas to those who celebrate either the religious or the ‘secular’ version. Happy Kwanzaa and everything else that I’ll forget if I attempt to cover them all; please know that no matter what your holidays are (or aren’t), I am wishing you a healthy, happy, prosperous end to the year and start to the next.
May you have your heart’s dearest wishes, in ways that are healthy for your long-term well-being.
I may do a 2019 retrospective next week, depending on my mood and where life has taken me by then. Not posting a long one today; we’re all busy and I don’t want to add to anyone’s stress.
Be well, dear ones.
