Well, we’re here! We’ve almost made it to the big final two holidays of the season (more than that, depending on what you celebrate…I have Yule on tap too).
As you go about your week, no matter how much you have going on…the travel, the relatives, the wrapping, the packing, the cooking and cleaning and all of that jazz, I want you to make sure you take time to breathe.
When you feel crunchy inside from stress, stop what you’re doing (I promise it can wait 30 seconds or five minutes) and work on relaxing your body. Drop your shoulders, unclench your jaw, exhale and then breathe deeply, slowly…because you know what? You’ve got this.
We all do. I know it seems extra-crazy and maybe a little more grim than usual as we are still in the throes of this pandemic (largely thanks to never going far enough with safety measures + many people still refusing to be vaccinated…don’t even get me started there!)…but we’ve got this anyway.
And we’ve got each other. We have love. And that is a bright flame that neither time nor stress, neither distance nor other “life things,” can ever diminish.
Happy everything to you and yours. 🙂
