Mel’s Monday Musings: November 22, 2021

It’s not Thanksgiving yet here in America, but what are you thankful for right now, today? What little things (or big things) immediately rush to mind? I don’t want to hear what you think you should say. I want to hear what’s actually on your heart right now. It’s ok.

I’m thankful for the snow and graupel we had briefly this afternoon (mostly graupel — I heard someone call it “Dippin Dots” earlier today and that’s SO cute).

I’m thankful for a vast, vibrant love that doesn’t worry about following any definition but its own, right here and right now.

I’m thankful for new friends made over the past few months in the local arts community (and I’m SO thankful the majority of my part in making the big art show happen is behind me now!).

I’m thankful for my mini potted spruce tree on my kitchen table. (Nicknames already include Bruce the Spruce and Spruce Almighty.) I can’t wait to watch it grow big and strong in my far back yard once the holidays are over!

Your turn. 🙂
