Congratulations! You’ve made it to November!
I know it’s been a long year but look at you getting through it!
It’s a hella-busy week for me as I prepare for the biggest craft show I’m attending this year — one that has strict safety protocols and is in a great location. I’m all for picking normal life up; we just need to keep being smart about things. I’m fully vaccinated so my concerns are mostly for making sure I don’t inadvertently spread the virus to someone who is less well-equipped to handle it for whatever reason.
Thanksgiving planning has already started too. We’re hosting again this year (just 8 people, and 6 of them live here, so nbd there). It’s an all-hands-on-deck prep kind of situation though. Everyone has to do their part…hopefully the various shortages going around won’t impact things too severely.
Life is good here; fall art show planning keeps us hopping right now but in a few more Mondays we’ll be actually mid-show, so whatever happens, happens. At some point, alea iacta est!
I’ve also stumbled across my next tattoo (I had like six already in mind, but this little one is bumping all the others down a slot because it’s a symbol of soul-sisterhood with one of my dearest friends. She and I are each going to get a colorful little jellyfish to represent fearlessness (they will match; details and placement TBD). We’ve each had a nasty encounter with one of those — hers much more severe than mine! so they’re good symbols for us of overcoming fear/being dauntless in the face of life’s hurdles.
So I’m excited for that in all the bustle and craziness! And…we’re almost through nasty pumpkin spice season, and y’all know what that means:
MINTER IS COMING. 😀
