Mel’s Monday Musings: July 5, 2021

It’s been a year since the sweltering afternoon when I climbed out of the pool to rescue a ball one of the kids knocked into the grass. I saw my phone on the railing and decided to check and see who had won the art competition for an album cover.

That someone, it turned out, was me.

I don’t have a lot to say that I haven’t already said elsewhere; here’s my Instagram post about it.

So grateful. What a difference a year makes!
