I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the FDA granted Pfizer’s EUA request for vaccines for 12-to-15-year-olds! This is great news (assuming the CDC follows on Wednesday). All three of my kids are in that age range.
Get vaccinated if you can, folks! Let’s kick this pandemic to the curb. We’re all “over it,” I know — do your part and get your shot when the chance presents itself!
In other happy news, our resident groundhog has been making her presence known. We enjoy watching her sun herself by the (still-closed) pool or helping tidy the yard by eating weeds (sometimes hilariously clumsily…she fits right in!).
We’re under a frost advisory tonight. Yes, on May 10th. :-p I hope all of my plants survive with minimal damage, because I am too much of a chaos gardener to go cover things. I plant when it seems right, water when I feel like it, and let Nature do Her thing. Seems to work out well most of the time.
