Mel’s Monday Musings: August 12, 2019

Hi, y’all! It’s been a nice day here; hope you can say the same!

Any day that starts out with time on (or in) the water is good by me. We went on a boat tour today, on the St. Lawrence River. It’s gorgeous.

And now I’m happily mid-chainmaille projects. I started making chainmaille (mostly jewelry) a few years ago, thanks to an incredible gift and demonstration that someone believed in me. I love spending time with jump rings (or wire in any form, really).

The art show is coming right up! I’m not as nervous as I thought I would be — YET. I’m sure it’s coming. I don’t really do “big new things” without an internal freakout moment somewhere in the mix…but it’ll probably hold off until the first day of the show. I still have info to print out and laminate and prints to mat! But first, chainmaille. 😀
