Mel’s Monday Musings: August 2, 2021

Hi, y’all! I know it’s an unusual ask, but I could use your help this week:

I was delighted to find out that I’m a finalist in an art competition to have my work on Calm Strips! Nothing is certain yet though; now through tomorrow the public will pick the three winners from the top 8 entries.

(Bonus: the painting of mine that’s being considered is the first Pride-themed piece I ever made, after someone very close to me came out a few years ago — so this competition feels very personal.)
