(Did you miss me?)
New things are afoot for Melstery.com. The largest change is that I’ll be re-branding — this site will primarily be used to advertise my editing services and to connect with prospective clients. I’m in the process of hiring a logo designer already!
The current plan for blogging (which I’m also diving back into) is to revive my Substack (I’m Vibrant over there). I’m hoping that by offering both free and paid content, I can engage new readers in a way that allows them to also financially support my creative efforts if they are able and wish to do so.
I also need to clean up my art website (Wandering Bloom Art) and add a simple, direct way to shop on-site. I’m looking into potential solutions for that part at the moment and am open to ideas! I have so much new art to share. (So. Much. Art.)
It’s my hope that this three-pronged approach — writing, editing, and art — will eventually allow me to support myself without the need for a “day job” whose ethics no longer align with my own.
We’ll get political. We’ll get emotional. We’ll get weird and whimsical — and I can’t do any of it without you.
I hope you’ll tune in for the re-launches of Melstery Editing, Wandering Bloom Art, and Vibrant!
Be kind to yourselves, y’all. More soon!
