Mel’s Monday Musings: November 25, 2019

Hi.

I was going to write something bubbly and fluffy (my grandma once told me, “You don’t have to look as bad as you feel,” and I am good at applying that to lots of areas of life), but I just don’t have it in me tonight. No dancing marionette.

I’m fine (for some definition of that word); I could just really use some good things happening, or something — anything! — going right.

So, since apparently good things are not coming my way right now, I thought I’d open it up to you. I know a lot more of you read than comment (I do that too!) but what if we all shared something good, no matter how small, that’s happening in our lives — or that we could make happen for someone else? I’m no Bloggess (she’s fantastic!) but there are enough of you here to make a decent go of it, I think. 🙂

That’d be really cool. 🙂 Thank you. See you next week, hopefully with better content!

  1. I’m in a similar boat; I would love to read some good news. For my part, while plenty is wrong, here’s what’s going right: my daughter has rediscovered her love of reading big-time over the past month, I’ve found a truly great smurf-blue hair dye I like, and we as a society have finally crept past pumpkin spice season to peppermint mocha season. Thanks for the prompt to look for some positive. Hope you soon have plenty of your own good news.

      1. It’s Punky Atlantic Blue. Highly recommended. 🙂 A lot of people smile at blue hair. It’s proving to be a surprising uniter of diverse folk.
